Labor, Birthing, & Hospital Stay Portraits!

Hello Friends and Family! I just wanted to announce that I've made an addition to my business! I will now be scheduling appointments for Labor, Birth, and Hospital Stay Portraits! The package will include from the time labor begins (or the time you call me to meet you at the hospital), through the birthing processes (as much or as little as you'd like), and then the hospital stay the very next day. There is a set photographing fee for the entire session and will include 20-30 images from the event (please contact me for pricing information). Assignment number TWO

So here is it, assignment number two! I had fun with this one. I always wondered how I could get a perfectly clear shot, with an extra blurred background (in the manual setting). I knew how to do it on my 35mm, but not on my digital! Yea! Such an easy thing, but I just needed a little guidance. As with many things in life...enjoy!

Learning

I started my first Digital Photography class a couple of weeks ago! I am having so much fun learning the little aspects of my camera that I just couldn't figure out on my own. Each week I have an assignment to turn in, so I'm going to post the pictures from each week to see my progress. I am so thankful that the Lord has given me this gift...

Baby S

This is a picture of M when she was pregnant with the babe! I just wanted to add this one to the rest. Hope you all are enjoying this day...

Baby S was born one week early! YEA! She is the most beautiful baby I've ever seen, and those locks! I had so much fun visiting M and J as proud new parents. It was great to hear the nurse call J, "Dad." Awesome. I only snapped a few shots, but it was great just to be there with the new fam. Newborn babes are so precious to me! What a miraculous gift from our Heavenly Father. Enjoy the little bundle...

Last, but not LEAST

The other weekend was full of baby showers for my long-lost friends in Tennessee. They are really not lost, just friends from College that I rarely get to see! We had to much fun talking babies, bellies, and bundles of joy. I can't wait to meet baby C, and of course N's twins I and E! What fun we had over the weekend. These are just a couple I took of H at her shower. Not much time, or space;) for photos! Hope this finds you all smiling!

The BOYS

The two boys. WOW! What a handsome, fun, adorable, little boy A is. I had so much fun shooting pictures at the M's house last week. I have really come to love seeing this family when I visit my in-laws in Blacksburg. I am so thankful for the friendship I have created with them in little increments of time! A was such a sweetheart with his new baby brother. Boys...one thing I have absolutely NO idea about:) What fun. Enjoy these few pictures from the shoot!

On the road again...

Off to Tennessee I went for my very first maternity photo shoot! WOW! What an experience. I had so much fun working with my long time friend N and her husband. We laughed a lot and talked babies as N and L are expecting twins! They are so excited and blessed to be expecting one girl and one boy.
